What makes a good quality Trampoline Spring?

Though all 7inch springs are obviously 7inch long, how thick is the spring and how many coils are there in it? Our springs have thick individual coils and plenty of them, so are strong and provide a great bounce. Cheaper trampoline springs will not weigh as much as ours. A good quality trampoline spring should last 10 years before there is any stretch and it shouldn't rust nor snap for 20 years.

Is it time to replace your trampoline springs?

Trampoline springs can break if the trampoline is overloaded or if the original springs are of a poor quality. When ordering trampoline springs, please remember that they do come in different lengths. Generally 8ft and 10ft round trampolines use a 5.5 or 7 inch spring, whilst 12, 13, 14 and 15ft round trampolines will use either a 7 or 8.5 inch spring. Simply measure the overall length of an existing spring prior to ordering.

Cheap springs are probably not fully galvanised, so tend to rust and eventually break. As with any trampoline spring, we cannot guarantee that our springs will not eventually have a small amount of surface rust, but the galvanising process ensures that any rust will only be on the surface, not effecting the overall quality. To check how many springs you need for your trampoline, you can either count the metal 'D ' rings on the jump mat or count the metal slots on the top of the trampoline frame i.e. the slots in to which the springs attach.

Do you do quantity discounts?

Yes, we offer quantity discounts on our trampoline springs, so make sure that you look closely at what is the cheapest method of buying. A pack of 50 may be cheaper than 4 packs of 10.
